There were six of us (Miriam, Louise, Lucia, Ro, Gil, Maggie) who saw three mammals (squirrel, rabbit, beaver) and 25 species of birds. We followed the long bridge on the red trail up to the intersection with the blue trail, went around near the water and then to the yellow trail where we stopped by the water for awhile and saw the beaver, then we followed the yellow trail back to the parking lot.
Burlington County Parks have a system of for reporting WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS. Go to page two for the recent sightings at Long Bridge Park. After Miriam sends me the list for the April 11 trip I'll submit our sightings to the park through the REPORT A SIGHTING FORM.
And, of course the list will be added to this post of the Bird Club blog.
